Hollywood show makes Connection
MIP NEWS: First-time MipTV exhibitor Connection III Entertainment has closed a number of international deals for its flagship entertainment series Made In Hollywood, selling the show into Greece, Cyprus and Turkey.
The first two seasons of the hour-long programme have been picked up by Fox International Channels in Greece and Cyprus for an October 2009 premiere, while the show has been renewed for its third season with Fox International in Turkey. The series will air on FoxLife-branded networks in each territory.
"These early commitments from Fox International, with its powerful brand of channels, validate our decision to exhibit at MipTV for the first time," said Connection III's founder, president and CEO Cleveland O'Neal.
O'Neal serves as creator, writer and executive producer for both shows. Currently in its fourth season in the US, Made In Hollywood features celebrity interviews and star profiles, on-set coverage with directors, writers and producers and previews of upcoming motion picture and DVD releases.
Connection III recently closed a 21-market US national syndication deal with the CBS-owned local TV stations for the 2009/10 season, as well as securing a sponsorship deal with MovieTickets.com.
